Capturing a run should not require another device strapped to your helmet.
This self-initiated ski goggle concept was developed around the frustration of using external action cameras on the slopes — from awkward helmet mounts and hard-to-reach buttons to unclear recording feedback and added bulk.
The concept integrates a front-facing camera directly into the ski goggle form, creating a cleaner point-of-view recording setup for skiing and snowboarding. A large side button allows recording to be started while wearing gloves, while a small internal light provides visible feedback when the camera is active.
The project focused on product architecture, camera placement, side-control interaction, strap integration, CMF and visual storytelling — exploring how recording technology could become part of the goggle itself instead of an added accessory.







Built-In POV
The concept explores a more seamless way to capture action footage by integrating the camera directly into the ski goggle instead of relying on external helmet or chest mounts.
Glove-Friendly Control
A large side button was added to make recording easier during skiing or snowboarding, even while wearing gloves.
Concept Development
Sketches, 3D modeling and visual exploration were used to define the goggle proportions, camera position, side module, strap connection and overall product character.
