TRI TABLE was one of my early self-initiated furniture projects, developed as a practical side table for my own apartment and as a way to improve my hands-on fabrication skills.
The design is based on a simple construction logic: a round wooden tabletop mounted to a minimal welded steel frame. The goal was to create a visually quiet table using as little material as possible, while still giving the object a clear stance and stable structure.
The project involved sketching, cutting steel profiles, welding the frame, preparing and painting the metal structure, finishing the wooden tabletop and assembling the final pieces. Two tables were built and used for several years across three different apartments before being passed on for continued use in my parents’ living room.
The result is a simple, durable furniture object that reflects an early but important part of my design development: learning through making, material handling and building real objects by hand.

Sketch to Structure
The table started with a simple construction idea: a round wooden top supported by a minimal steel frame made from welded profiles.
Welding and Fabrication
The frame was cut, aligned and welded by hand as part of an early hands-on exploration into metal fabrication and furniture making.
Wood, Steel and Finish
The final object combines a painted steel frame with a finished wooden tabletop, creating a quiet contrast between industrial structure and natural surface.
Long-Term Use
Two tables were built and used for several years across multiple apartments before continuing their life in a family living room.
